Streets of London
While walking along the Thames and talking with my son Federico, the theme of Streets of London kept coming back to my mind.
After returning to Italy, I sat at the piano and, little by little, the piece began to take shape.
“Streets of London” is a piece to which I feel deeply connected.

Vittorio, our nephew, a wonderful child on the autism spectrum.

“La Passacaglia” and “The Butterfly” were dedicated to Vittorio, our nephew.
I was at the Tate Gallery in London, in front of a painting portraying two figures gathered around a piano. Strong colors and expressive gestures give the scene an intense, dramatic character, with music clearly at the heart of the composition.
